Devlog #1: First project

This is my first actual solo project. It's a prototype right now, but I hope it becomes a bigger game.
It took a few days of development to get it to where it is now. I know it's a super simple game that shouldn't take more than a few hours to make, but it was my first time working with many of the Unity systems I used like particles, UI, Scriptable Objects, and others.
I have a lot of ideas for the future. I wanted to make this prototype and publish it because I have midterms coming up, and I didn't want to get too caught up in development during that time. I want to make a roguelike, something similar to The Binding of Isaac. I set up a Trello board so I can write down all the features I want to include in the game: procedural dungeons, items, weapons, interesting enemies, bosses...
I'm currently very motivated to work on the game, and I hope that continues. I think I’ve found a good balance, and I'm in no hurry, so I'm just going to keep chipping away at that board of features and see where it leads me.
That's all for the first devlog.
